Okay all, I'm feeling the need for a few good movies.

Please post a few of your favorites here.  I'm open to all genres and seem for some odd reason to have a yen for a good scary movie...  Undecided  Not very holiday related but... ah well.

So, please post some good suggestions when you can!  I'll let you know which I watch and what I think.  Cheesy

Thanks!

Want "box office" type or "artistic" types, B grade, straight to video?

Lots out there.   Shocked

If you're looking for a good scary movie, watch the original Candy Man.  If just looking for a fun good all around movie, my first reccomendation is The Fifth Element.

Not a huge scary movie buff but i liked the first couple in the Saw series.  More of a hackem up rather than a paranormal thriller.  The wife and I liked The Hangover a lot (comedy).  Wifey liked Public Enemy with Johnny Depp. But then again she has a thing for Depp so the movie may not actually be good at all.

Great ideas all!  Cheesy

I've watched a lot of these suggestions and am inspired to watch them again.

Tusc - I will look into the original Candyman and I agree on the Fifth Element.

Thespian and Daichu - I am thinking rentables right now (Netflix, Red Box, On Demand, etc).

Let's narrow it down to your top 5 movies of all time.  That will give me some good starts.  Smiley

Thanks again for your help!  Can't wait to update my Netflix!

Love all these ideas!  Some of them I haven't heard of before and will be researched further.

I'm going to compile my starting list then I'll let you know what I think.

Thanks so much all!   Cheesy

I know!!!  Saw it in the theatres close to when it first came out.  I agree in it's one of the funnier movies I watched in 2009.

- 4.5 stars for comedy
- Adult content not meant for young viewers
- Bonus points if you guess where to find the missing person before the ending.
